Ownbase is a trading name of Skinfaxi Limited, registered in Ireland under number 711398. We provide advice, migration and management of European digital workplaces for SMEs across Ireland and Europe.

What data we collect
We only collect data that you actively provide to us through the contact form on this website. This includes:
- Name
- Organisation name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- The content of your message
We never ask for more data than is necessary to handle your request.
How we use this data
We use your data solely to respond to your enquiry and to provide the requested services. We do not use your data for profiling, automated decision-making or commercial purposes for which you have not given your consent.
The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest: you contact us yourself and we respond to that request.
How long we retain your data
We do not retain contact data for longer than necessary. If an initial conversation does not lead to further collaboration, we delete your data within three months. In an ongoing client relationship, we retain data for the duration of the agreement and thereafter for the legally required retention period.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
All data submitted through the contact form is stored exclusively in our own WordPress environment on our own server. No data is forwarded to external services or platforms.
In the future we may make use of additional tools for email communication or website analytics. We expressly prefer European alternatives that comply with the GDPR. We will update this privacy policy as soon as we start using such tools, and where necessary we will ask for your consent.
Hosting and infrastructure
Our website and server run on a dedicated VPS with Strato, a German hosting provider with servers in Germany. Strato falls under European law and the GDPR. A data processing agreement applies to our arrangement with Strato on the basis of their standard terms.
Our server is located in Germany and falls entirely outside the scope of the US CLOUD Act. Your data is never stored on infrastructure subject to US jurisdiction.
Cookies and website analytics
We currently do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics services such as Google Analytics. We place only functional cookies that are necessary for the operation of the website.
Should we make use of analytics tools in the future, we will choose privacy-friendly, preferably European alternatives. We will inform you in advance through this policy.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights:
- Access: you can request details of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: you can have inaccurate data corrected.
- Erasure: you can request the deletion of your data.
- Objection: you can object to the processing of your data.
- Portability: you can request your data in a commonly used format.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). In Ireland this is the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Our infrastructure is entirely in European hands and meets the security requirements set out in the GDPR.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy if our services or applicable legislation give reason to do so. The date at the top of this document indicates when it was last updated. In the event of significant changes, we will notify existing contacts by email.
